What is a Direct Aligner?

Direct Aligner is a patient-tailored orthodontic aligner manufactured by direct printing with a 3D printer. It was developed by GRAPHY for the first time in the world and obtained domestic and international patents and medical device certifications.

How many hours a day should I wear it?

The treatment effect is expected the more you wear it as much as possible. excluding mealtime. It is recommended to wear it for at least 20 hours a day.

I have pain when wearing the aligner, is that ok?

You may experience pain when you put on the aligner for the first time. This is natural because force is applied to the teeth to move. Pain in reduced as the tooth moves. If the pain is severe or persist after 3 to 4 days, contact your dentist.

Please tell us in detail how to clean, disinfect, and store.

Direct aligner can be used by using toothpaste or tooth cleaner under running water, and it can also be sterilized with hot water at high temperature. When the aligner is not being worn, put it in the separately supplied storage case and store it in a cool place.

For children or the elderly, is there an age range that can be treated?

There is no age limit for treatment as long as the teeth are healthy. If you are a child or an elderly, please follow the guidance of the hospital to decide whether to receive treatment.

What if the aligner is damaged(discolored, broken, etc.) or lost?

If the aligner is damaged or lost, you must contact the dentist to provide a new aligner. In

this case, a separate fee set by the hospital may be incurred.

Can I eat while wearing the aligner?

Eat after removing the aligner. After eating, clean the dental appliance before putting it on.

How often should I visit the dental clinic?

This may vary depending on your treatment plan.

What if my gums are swollen or inflamed?

Direct aligner is CE certified and harmless sto human body. However, depending the individual’s health condition and reaction, severe swelling of the gums, inflammation, and allergic reactions may occur. In this case, contact your dentist immediately for the necessary treatment.
